Vasantha Yogananthan began his career as picture editor but quickly became an award-winning photographer, publisher and innovator, exploring the line between documentary and fiction. Born and raised in Paris, Yogananthan spent seven years in India working on his project The Myth of Two Souls, asking local Indian people to play scenes from the Ramayana, one of the longest epic poems of the ancient world and the most famous story in India.
